Description

Intermediate PRISMATIC STEP jaws are desgined for use on Standard Series or Standard Flex vices and turn a single clamping vice into a double clamping vice. The jaws simply slide into the base and clamp using the pressure from the movable jaw.

he intermediate jaw can be used for claming cylndrical workpieces in vertical or horizontal positions, or as a step jaw for through hole drilling/tapping.

When using with a Standard Series vice, the fixed jaw can be reversed to use the step on the rear of the jaw. The movable jaw should be replaced with the ART217 pristmatic step jaw.

ART214 jaws are hardened to 60 Rockwell and all working surfaces ground within 0.01mm.
